Two-time Super Bowl winning coach Tom Coughlin could be returning to his roots.
Coughlin, 70, is set to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars Wednesday. He began his head coaching career in 1995 with the Jaguars, before leaving in 2002. He coached the New York Giants from 2004 to 2015, winning two titles. The Jaguars fired former coach Gus Bradley on Dec. 18.
Bradley posted a 14-48 record for the Jaguars. Coughlin posted a 68-60 mark in eight seasons for the Jaguars. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news of Coughlin's interview with the Jaguars. Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported Tuesday that Coughlin was a "top candidate" for the Buffalo Bills' head coaching vacancy.
The Jaguars [3-12] battle the Indianapolis Colts at 1 p.m. Sunday in an AFC South matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.
