The Dallas Cowboys, who already have clinched home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs, plan to play their starters in the final two regular-season games, including Monday night against the Detroit Lions.
Coach Jason Garrett reiterated Monday he will give quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott and the other starters a normal workload against the Lions.
"We like the rhythm of our offense and how Dak is playing," Garrett told ESPN"s Ed Werder.
The Cowboys (12-2), behind the sensational rookie duo of Prescott and Elliott, would set a franchise regular-season record if they close out with wins over the Lions and on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
