Zlatan Ibrahimovic has launched a scathing attack on the ‘sh**’ pundits who doubted his quality when he moved to Manchester United in the summer.
The 35-year-old led the way in Ligue 1 for many seasons, but critics questioned whether he still had what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.
However, Ibrahimovic has now scored 17 goals in all competitions for United and the Swede says there is nothing sweeter than making his critics eat their words.
‘It gives me a lot of energy, trust me,’ said Ibrahimovic.

‘A lot of energy, because they get paid to talk sh*t and I get paid to play with my feet – that’s how I enjoy it.
‘I had a fantastic year.
‘At PSG it was amazing, and I came to United and my first six months here have been more than amazing.

‘I came to the Premier League and everyone thought it would not be possible but, like always, I make them eat their balls.
‘I’m super-happy and I feel good. I don’t know how many years I have left, but I’m enjoying the football.
‘Every year, they (United) have been calling me and they was not feeling good, so I wanted to come when everyone thought I was over.’
Ibrahimovic has been a central figure in the United side, despite his age as he has made himself the go to man of the Red Devils squad.
The striker has sat out just one game so far this season and has started 24 of the 27 matches he has played so far.
United’s renewed form under the leadership of Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba has helped them win five league games in a row.
