Mauricio Pochettino believes everyone will be behind Tottenham when they play Chelsea on Wednesday evening.
The game at White Hart Lane is being viewed as a real test of Chelsea as they look to continue their incredible winning run.
Antonio Conte’s side have won their last 13 games, although their most recent victories (West Brom, Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Stoke) have been in matches they would be expected to win. A trip to Tottenham will be much tougher.
Their incredible run of form has seen them open up a gap at the top of the table, which has led to their rivals hoping they will slip up and offer hope they can be caught. It is for that reason Pochettino thinks people will get behind his side.
‘Maybe we will feel how Leicester felt last season,’ said the Tottenham manager, in reference to Leicester’s title win last season in which Spurs were their closest challengers.
‘It was all the teams with them and against us. Maybe [Chelsea] will feel the same as us last season.’
